A two-day seminar from May 29th to the 30th covering topics on Health and Migration will take place at the headquarters of Médecins du Monde in Brussels. The seminar will focus on the important topics of Planning and Sexual and Reproductive Health, Mental Health and Migration.
The event will be dynamic, as short presentations will be enriched by workshops dealing with relevant matters such as access to healthcare for migrants.
The Brussels-based seminar is the second of a series of five. The first one having been the Gender and Empowerment event in Madrid and the next one taking place in Amsterdam at the end of September.
These seminars are organised under the framework of the EU Aid Volunteers initiative. Their main objective is to empower future hosting organisations, and share knowledge between the EU-based NGOs and the partners based in Ukraine, Honduras, Nicaragua, Mauritania, Burkina Faso, Morocco and Benin.
