A world where barriers to Health have been overcome, a world where Health is acknowledge as a fundamental right.
MISSION: Doctors of the World (Médecins du Monde) is an independent international voluntary movement working at home and abroad.
Through innovative medical programs and evidence-based advocacy, we empower excluded people and communities to claim their right to health while fighting for universal access to health care.
Médicos del Mundo Spain works towards ensuring the universality of access to Health care for all is real and effective, by promoting social change and providing integrated, public and universal health care to all.
Médecins du Monde France was born in 1980 and in 1990, an office of Médicos del Mundo was opened in Spain. The International Network is comprised of 15 chapters across 15 different countries.

WHY DID WE DECIDE TO JOIN THE EU AID VOLUNTEERS INITIATIVE?
MdM associations work in the field of Humanitarian Aid and are comprised and led by volunteers, the MdM International network has decided to join the EU Aid Volunteers Initiative.
